LERA was the structural engineer for the 150,000-sf (14,000-sm) Macao Science Center, located on reclaimed land on the waterfront of Macao. Combined with a conference center with a 500-seat auditorium, the Science Center contains 15 galleries, a planetarium, a multipurpose hall and an observation deck with a 180° view of Taipa Island.
